Prayer Requests - July 27, 2008

JOHN BROWN - please pray for our family as Christine's Grandma arrives today (Tuesday) for two weeks. So much has to be juggled during this time. Praise - the girls haven't had fever since Saturday night.

PRESCOTT - silent

MILLER - Woody's eye with tests on Thursday. Also, Savannah is coming in a little over a month.

GARBEE - Praise for Ethan's eyes. He has maintained focusing ability but still lacks depth perception. God has been so good considering that he was legally blind (20/400) when we started this journey 10 plus years ago.

WALKER - Jonah has had croup for several days and Scott has had strep throat and all that goes with that. Please pray for their recovery and Tisha not getting any of this!

STEVE BROWN - Steve's Father, Isaiah, as he continues dialysis.

PARK - Sandra and Chip's William (17) got test results back yesterday for dizzy spells and passing out. Blood work and chest x-ray normal; EKG and Holter monitor have abnormalities. Is having echocardiogram Wednesday at 1:30 - results on August 15 with referral to a cardiologist. Please pray that all goes well and that whatever is wrong can be easily treated.
Also, Chip's former brother-in-law, Carlos Keelin, passed away Wednesday at age 46.

BRYANT - Tiffany's pregnancy and sickness to subside

CORCORAN - new school year beginning

COUGHLIN - traveling mercies - Lindsey Morgan in horseshow in Morristown this weekend.

FAULK - they are having a boy!

GRAY - traveling mercies this week on vacation

HICKMAN - traveling mercies for vacation

RODGERS - praise, Hannah baptized Sunday morning

VANBUSKIRK - decision for Logan by cardiologist will be August 5 with follow up appointment on August 13. Many decisions to be made at that time.

STILES - our dearest friends have a daughter with MS - she was diagnosed 12 years ago at only 16 years old. She begins a new treatment this morning at 11:00. There are great risks with this treatment and they would cherish prayers. She has had a rough summer and this treatment needs to be done. Also, we are working in Gainesville, GA, today through Thursday night. Please pray for my Mom while we are gone - she has gall bladder tests tomorrow and results from the heart testing she had done yesterday are still unknown but not expected to be bad. Silent.
