Prayer Requests - August 17, 2008

VANBUSKIRK - Praise that Logan does not need heart surgery at this time! Continue to pray for healing.

STEVE BROWN - Please pray for my Dad (Isaiah) - that he will be able to transfer his catheter in his neck to his arm to keep him from having infections. Please pray for his strength. I would like to thank you for your continuing prayer.

GIFFORD - Jeremy & Kristy (Son and daughter-in-law) are going through a divorce. Please pray for them and their children.

TERRELL - Continue to pray for Luke as he recovers from pneumonia. He is doing better.

WELDON - Andy - strep throat. Tom and Wendy - political campaign

SMITH - Job situations. Family

RODGERS - Traveling mercies for Bryan; Melanie's sister and husband moving to Atlanta - pray for a smooth move; Melanie's parents; unspoken

BROWN - We had a wonderful first week of homeschooling, praise! Austin has been adjusting well to a new medication and we have seen a lift in his depression.

RIDDLE - Alex is through the pain in his recovery fro having his tonsils removed. Thank you for praying for him. Tomorrow morning we go to a new neurologist for a for a 2nd opinion on his seizures. Hopefully we can get some insight/guidance in treating them.

MILLER - 2 more weeks until Savannah arrives. Mary's parents move here this Thursday.

PARK - William (16 years old) had heart tests last week with nothing wrong showing up. They are looking for another specialist for him to see.

BRYANT - Tiffany is extremely ill with her pregnancy. Her Mom has been here for a couple of weeks but may have to leave this week. Please pray for her and her family as she cares for them.

STILES - Bill is working in Pennsylvania Wed through Friday this week
- safe travel. Silent.

WALKER - Jonah is sick (as of Friday), but seems to be getting better.


PASTOR SEARCH COMMITTEE AND THE PROCESS TO CALL THE NEW SENIOR PASTOR. Please pray for the Lord to prepare your heart for the arrival of the new pastor.

PRAISE!! - Larry and Holly Swinea joined the church this morning.
Welcome to them and their children, Gracie and Landon.

PRAISE for the baptism of Grant and Gabby Getz two weeks ago.
